Melissa Butler

Melissa Butler, MBA, has extensive experience in human resources and talent management. From 2022, they have been serving as the Director of HR at Charter Wire. Prior to this, they worked at Uline as the Director of HR from 2017 to 2022. Before joining Uline, they held various roles at G&K Services, including Regional HR Director from 2011 to 2017 and Sr. Human Resources Generalist from 2006 to 2011. Melissa also worked at Masterson Staffing Solutions as a Staffing Manager from 2002 to 2006, where they provided leadership oversight and talent management for a staffing firm. Melissa also served as an On-site Coordinator at General Mills Pillsbury Bakery during this time. Melissa showcases expertise in strategic HR partnership, talent acquisition, succession planning, and employee relations.

Melissa Butler, MBA has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Leadership from the W. P. Carey School of Business - Arizona State University. Melissa also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

In addition to their formal education, Melissa has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. These include being a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci, LVI Certification from Kaiser Leadership Solutions, Everything DiSC Workplace® Certification - Classroom from Everything DiSC: A Wiley Brand, MBTI Certified Facilitator from CPP, Inc., SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional) from SHRM, DDI Certified Facilitator from Development Dimensions International, and SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.

Melissa also had a semester abroad experience at the Universidad de Valladolid in 2000 and holds a Certificate in Organizational Development from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
