Sarah Petersen

Sarah is an experienced non-executive Director and Chief Financial Officer in the not-for-profit and commercial sectors in New Zealand, most recently holding executive roles at global education consultancy Cognition Education.

Sarah began her Chartered Accountancy career at Ernst & Young in New Zealand before moving to the telecommunications sector, is a member of the Institute of Directors and holds an Bachelor of Management Studies with First Class Honours from the University of Waikato.

Sarah is currently Chair of Northland Inc, Northland's economic development agency, and non-executive Director of Far North Holdings. She has previously been Chair and non-executive Director at Make-A-Wish New Zealand for six years, and has experience chairing Audit & Risk Committees for those Boards on which she serves.
