Oladipo Olaiya has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Oladipo started their career as an Internal Audit Executive at Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited in 2001 and worked there until 2011. Oladipo then moved on to Delaware North, where they served as a Hospitality Front of House Supervisor from December 2011 to April 2014. In 2011, Oladipo also took on the role of Events Duty Manager at the London Borough of Newham, which they held until September 2015. Oladipo then joined Stratford Circus Arts Centre as a Finance Assistant and Front of House Duty Manager from May 2015 to March 2017. Oladipo then joined the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) as a Venue and Facilities Executive in April 2017, eventually becoming a Senior Venue and Facilities Executive in November 2017. Oladipo continued their career at CIArb as the Venue and Facilities Manager from October 2020 to August 2023, and then became the Head of Venue and Facilities in August 2023. In 2016, Oladipo also had a brief role as a Casual Visitor Experience Duty Manager at Wellcome Trust.

Oladipo Olaiya obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Innovation with Entrepreneurship from Birkbeck, University of London, during the years 2019-2021. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics from the University of Abuja. Oladipo also studied Accounting and Finance at Ondo State Polytechnic. In addition to their academic achievements, Oladipo has obtained several certifications including the NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management, Certified Fire Marshall (FM) from St John Ambulance, First Aid at Work from St John Ambulance, and Managing Safely from IOSH.
