Ken Opara

Ken Opara is an accomplished banking professional with over 16 years of experience at Fidelity Bank PLC, where current roles include Executive Director and Regional Head of Ikeja Mainland. Previous positions encompass General Manager of Managed SMEs, Export & Multilateral Agencies, and Head of Consumer Banking, contributing significantly to strategic frameworks in SME and consumer banking. As President and Chairman of the Council at The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria since May 2022, Ken Opara advocates for SMEs while fostering capacity building and mentorship. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Credit Management from the International University of Panama, an MBA in Finance from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a B.Sc. in Finance from the same institution, graduating with Second Class Upper honors.
