Sandro Boeri has extensive experience in internal audit and risk management. Sandro currently serves as the President of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors. Prior to this, they held roles such as Deputy President and Council Member at the institute. In their previous role at Deutsche Bank, Sandro served as the Group Audit Co-Head of People Enablement & Head of Culture Assessment. Sandro also held positions as Head of Staff Development and Culture Assessments, as well as Head of Staff Development - Internal Audit. Before joining Deutsche Bank, Sandro was the Managing Director of Risk Audit Professional Development. Sandro also owned their own company, Risk Audit, where they served as the Owner for many years. Other notable positions include Head of Internal Audit at Gerrard Group, Head of Internal Audit at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Senior Internal Auditor at Lazard, and Head of Audit & Compliance at Credit Agricole. Sandro began their career as an Internal Auditor at Amsterdam Rotterdam Bank London Branch and Manufacturers Hanover Trust.
Sandro Boeri attended St. John the Evangelist from 1968 to 1973 and St. Aloysius College from 1971 to 1979. In 2019, they attended the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors and obtained a CMIIA degree.
