Vic Wardle has extensive experience in trading standards, currently serving as an Associate Tutor and Skills Trainer at Credit Services Association since February 2024 and as an Exam Moderator for the Chartered Trading Standards Institute since October 2022. Vic has played a crucial role as a Trading Standards Officer at Devon County Council since March 2017, overseeing all aspects of trading standards work. Previously, Vic held the position of Principal Officer at Lancashire County Council from April 2001 to March 2017, managing a team of Trading Standards Officers and leading complex projects. The career began as a Trading Standards Officer at Plymouth City Council from April 1996 to March 2001. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Certificate in Management from the University of Plymouth and a Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy and Finance from Humberside Polytechnic.
