Mirja Weidner

Mirja Weidner is the ESG and Compliance Manager at Charterhouse Capital Partners. Mirja has over 15 years of experience in compliance and risk management in the financial services industry.

Weidner started their career at WestLB in 2003 as an Associate Director. In this role, they were responsible for the bank's money laundering and 'know your customer' client identification checks for London, European and Rest of World clients. Weidner was also responsible for staff development, appraisal, budget planning, and promoting teamwork.

In 2009, Weidner left WestLB to join Wells Fargo as a Compliance Risk Consultant. In this role, they were responsible for interpreting and implementing regulatory requirements relating to anti-money laundering (AML) compliance. Mirja also ensured that AML procedures were properly conducted and that regulations were adhered to. Weidner left Wells Fargo in 2015 to join Charterhouse Capital Partners.

At Charterhouse, Weidner is responsible for managing the firm's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) compliance program. Mirja is also responsible for identifying and managing risks related to ESG issues.

Mirja Weidner has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) Law from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, and they have a APMP Project Management from University College London, U. of London. Mirja also has a Institute for Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge.
