Hesam Ghasemi

Hesam Ghasemi has a diverse work experience with a focus on software engineering and management. Hesam is currently working as a Principal Engineer at ChartHop since September 2021. Prior to that, Hesam worked at Cisco for several years, starting as a Site Reliability Engineer from July 2014 to May 2019. Hesam then served as a Technical Team Lead from May 2019 to December 2020 before being promoted to a Software Engineering Manager in December 2020. Hesam also worked as a Software Engineer at Fortinet from September 2011 to July 2014, and as a Computer Scientist at Simba Technologies from May 2010 to September 2011.

Hesam Ghasemi obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a minor in Commerce, from The University of British Columbia. Hesam attended this institution from 2002 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Computer Engineering, with a focus on Distributed Systems and Engineering Management. Hesam completed this program at The University of British Columbia from 2007 to 2010.
