Jason Copenhaver

Jason Copenhaver has extensive experience in the field of security engineering. Jason is currently employed as the Principal Security Engineer at ChartHop since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Zoom as a Senior Security Engineer from March 2021 to April 2022. Jason also held various roles at Tableau Software, starting as a Senior Software Engineer, then advancing to Lead Product Security Engineer, and finally, Staff Software Engineer, Product Security. At NCC Group and iSEC Partners, they served as a Senior Security Engineer, responsible for conducting penetration tests and security reviews of various applications. Earlier in their career, they worked at Accusoft Pegasus as a Software Architect and Senior Software Engineer, where they reviewed development aspects and ported libraries to different platforms. Jason also gained experience at JDSU (formerly Acterna) as a Software Engineer III, Standard Analytics, LLC as a Software Engineer, and Honeywell as a Systems Engineer III. At Acterna, they started as a Software Engineer II and was involved in the design and implementation of an MPEG-TS analyzer. Jason Copenhaver has a solid education background that includes two degrees. Jason graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in the years 1999 to 2001. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the same university between 2003 and 2006. In addition to their academic achievements, Jason also obtained a certification in "MCTS: Windows Internals (70-660)" from Microsoft in September 2011.
