George Petropoulos

George Petropoulos has worked in the technology industry since 2010. George began their career as a Senior Engineer and Research Engineer at Intracom Telecom, where they worked on software defined networking, information centric networking, network function virtualization, cloud and network traffic management systems, smart grid and demand response systems. In 2017, they became a Data Architect at VAIX LIMITED, where they were responsible for the company's data ETL pipelines and integration with customers. In 2020, they joined Channel VAS as a Data Engineering Manager, leading a team of 5 and maintaining and improving ~40 big data projects' ETL processes. Later that year, they became the Lead Data Engineer at Workable, where they maintained/improved internal ETL processes, batch processing of data, internal reporting and pipeline scheduling for data processing workflows. Currently, they are the Data Engineering Tech Lead at ChartMogul, leading the data engineering team and responsible for data analytics, warehousing and ETL workflows design and implementation, as well as the Destinations product design and implementation.

George Petropoulos received a Dipl. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the National Technical University of Athens between 2002 and 2008.
