Baillie Vandeventer-Ortiz

Baillie Vandeventer-Ortiz has extensive experience in recreational therapy and retirement living, currently serving as a Retirement Living Consultant and Lifestyle Program Manager at Chartwell Retirement Residences since May 2020. Prior to this role, Baillie held the position of Director of Recreation at Revera Inc. from February 2013 to May 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing recreational programs. Baillie's career began with a role as a Recreation Assistant, progressing through various positions including Life Skills Coach at the Hill Program, where Baillie worked closely with clients with acquired brain injuries. Baillie also served as a Recreation Therapist at Jackson Therapeutic Services from April 2011 to September 2013. Educational credentials include a Diploma in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from Mohawk College, obtained between 2007 and 2010.
