Dan Preston

Dan Preston has a strong background in the hospitality industry, with over 20 years of experience. Dan currently holds the position of Vice President Sales Marketing at Chartwell Hospitality, a role they have held since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Marriott International as an Area Sales Leader from 2014 to 2019. Before that, they were the Director of Sales & Marketing at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile from 2012 to 2014. From 2002 to 2012, they held the same position at InterContinental Hotels Group. Dan started their career as a Group Sales Manager at W Chicago City Center in 2000 and then worked as an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at Ritz Carlton Chicago from 1998 to 1999.

Dan Preston attended the University of Maryland from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Dan studied Government and History during their time at the university.
