Vishvesh Joshi

Vishvesh Joshi, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Vishvesh began their career at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories in 2005 as a Junior Manager, focusing on formulation development and scale-up. Vishvesh then joined Piramal Group in 2006 as a Research Scientist, where they worked on the formulation development of oral solids, semi-solids, and liquids.

In 2008, Joshi moved to Phoenix Pharmaceutical LLC, starting as a Senior Manager, R&D. Here, they were responsible for product development for the USA market. Vishvesh later became the Director, R&D & BD, taking on additional responsibilities such as selection of contract research organizations (CRO) for bio studies and contract manufacturing organizations (CMO) for manufacturing. Joshi also worked closely with the strategy team for product portfolio selection and managed projects to ensure timely execution.

In 2019, Joshi joined Alembic Labs LLC. as the Vice President of Research and Development. In this role, they contributed to the company's research and development efforts until 2023.

Most recently, in 2023, Joshi joined Chartwell Pharmaceuticals as the Vice President of Research and Development, where they continue to apply their expertise and experience in the field.

Vishvesh Joshi, Ph.D. pursued their education in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Vishvesh obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the Institute Of Chemical Technology, completing their studies from 2008 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Pharmacy (M Pharm) degree in Pharmaceutics and Drug Design from the University of Mumbai, where they studied from 1998 to 2002.
