Eleanor O'Shea

Eleanor O'Shea has an extensive work experience spanning several years. Eleanor is currently the Vice President of Global Service Delivery at CHAS, a Veriforce company since November 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Operations at CHAS from April 2021 to November 2023. Before joining CHAS, Eleanor was the Chief Operating Officer at Pyrrhic Re Ltd., where they were responsible for securing investment and worked closely with the founder and CEO. Eleanor also held the position of Head of Operations at Pyrrhic Re Ltd. Eleanor has experience working at Barbican Insurance Group as Group Procurement, Relationship and Operations Manager and as Delegated Authority Manager. Eleanor was responsible for creating a Group Procurement Function at Barbican and providing due diligence and advisory services for managed syndicates. Earlier in their career, they worked at Arch Insurance Group as the Coverholder Operations and Controls Manager, Tysers as a Divisional Director, and James Hampden International Insurance Brokers as a DUA Manager/Head of Technical Department. Eleanor started their career at Rees Insurance Services as an Administrator. Eleanor also had a role at Talent&Pro as a Business Unit Manager/Client Relationship Manager, where they managed a team and conducted client meetings. Throughout their career, Eleanor gained experience in operations management, procurement, delegated authority management, and client relations.

Eleanor O'Shea obtained a BA (Hons) French with Economics degree from the University of Exeter from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended Tonbridge Grammar School for Girls from 1992 to 1999. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner Certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in September 2019. Eleanor also holds certifications such as fCMgr MCMI from the Chartered Management Institute in 2019, ILM Endorsed Programme in Management and Leadership from ILM in 2013, and ACII/Chartered Insurer from the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2004. In 2021, they obtained a Certification in Security Awareness from CybSafe.
