Carl Hafford

Carl Hafford has over 38 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Carl is currently the Director of Operations at Chase Corporation since January 2023. Prior to this, Carl worked at Highline Warren as a Plant Manager from April 2021 to January 2023. Carl also served as a Plant Manager at Nestlé Waters from January 2019 to April 2021 and at Polar Beverages from November 2004 to January 2019.

Before transitioning into the beverage industry, Carl worked at Scholastic Book Fairs as a Regional Operations Manager, overseeing multiple facilities and managing budgets and staff. During their tenure, they implemented a scanning inventory system and initiated a third-party distribution program.

Additionally, Carl gained valuable experience in production and warehouse management at Polar Beverages from February 1988 to June 2001. Carl also served in the US Army National Guard from February 1987 to February 1993 and in the US Army as a Soldier from February 1985 to February 1987.

Carl Hafford completed their education at Eastern Nazarene College, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from 1996 to 2000, followed by a Master of Science in Management from 2002 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Hafford has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Some notable certifications include an Executive Leadership and Culture Certificate from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business in August 2022, a 5s concept certification from the Management & Strategy Institute in October 2021, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from SSGI in September 2021. Hafford is also certified in areas such as forklift training, OSHA 30 Hour, Kaizen facilitation, lockout tagout, food safety controls, hazardous waste management, notary public commission, wastewater operation, first aid, and CPR/AED. Carl is also a Certified Food Safety HACCP Manager (CFSHM) and a Total Quality Management Professional.
