Mark Hanekom

Mark Hanekom currently serves as the CFO of Chase Corporation, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this role, Mark was the CFO for the $1 billion Discovery and Medical operating company at Danaher Corporation from June 2018 to December 2024, where full P&L ownership was maintained. Mark also served as the Group Financial Officer for Pall Medical & Lab, responsible for two P&L's generating over $500 million in revenue, and was the Interim Finance Leader for Pall Biotech, overseeing $2 billion in revenue. Earlier in the career, Mark held the position of Global Corporate Controller at Molecular Devices, leading full P&L financial operations and compliance for the global finance team. Mark's career began at Deloitte, where services included M&A transactions, due diligence, and audit assurance for NYSE clients. Mark holds an executive education degree from Columbia Business School and a PGDA from the University of Cape Town, where preparations for the Chartered Accountant Board Exams were completed.
