Austin Whaley began their work experience in 2012 as a Package Handler at FedEx, where they focused on quick package delivery and obtaining signature authorization. From 2013 to 2015, they served as a Representative for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, showcasing effective communication skills in person and over the phone. In 2015, they worked as a Groundskeeper at MD Nursery and Landscape, providing weekly maintenance and efficient lawn care services.
Moving on, from 2016 to 2016, Austin served as a Challenge Course Guide at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, mitigating risks and ensuring safety for participants. In 2018, they worked as a Tax Intern at Poston, Denney & Killpack, PLLC, acquiring client information and preparing tax returns while gaining proficiency in tax preparation software. Additionally, in 2017, they served as a Route Expert at Moxie Pest Control, generating significant sales revenue and effectively communicating with prospects and clients.
From 2019 to 2019, Austin worked as a Video Director at Soapbox Agency, using their skills to create engaging videos. This was followed by their role as a Senior Accountant at Chatbooks starting in May 2022, where they are currently responsible for financial management. Prior to this, they held the position of Staff Accountant at the same company from 2020 to 2022.
Throughout their career, Austin Whaley has consistently demonstrated their ability to adapt to different roles and industries, showcasing strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Austin Whaley attended Brigham Young University - Idaho from 2015 to 2019. During this time, they studied Accounting and Finance. In 2016, they obtained certifications as a Challenge Course Drop Tower Practitioner and a Challenge Course Practitioner from The Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT).
