Betel Hailu

Betel Hailu has a diverse work experience in digital communications and social media management. Betel is currently working as an Associate Social Media Manager at Chatbooks since 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Associate Program Manager, Digital Communications at Humanity United from 2019 to 2022. Betel also worked as a Digital Communications & Networking intern at Democracy Fund in 2018 and as a Digital Communications Intern (Social Media) at Economic Innovation Group in the same year. Betel was a Digital Media/Communications Specialist at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies from 2017 to 2018 and a Digital Communications Fellow at Walker's Legacy & Walker's Legacy Foundation from 2016 to 2017. Betel Hailu holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations & Women's Studies from Old Dominion University. Betel also obtained a Master's degree in Public Administration, Social Policy from The George Washington University.
