Brent Whiteman

Brent Whiteman is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Director of Trading and Capital Markets for the Western U.S. at Chatham Financial since November 2015. In this role, Brent leads efforts to address capital markets challenges for real estate investors, focusing on areas such as interest rates, defeasance, prepayments, and debt management. Previously, Brent held several key positions in the United States Air Force, including Vice President of Real Estate Hedging & Capital Markets and Procurement Contracting Officer, managing a $14 billion portfolio in space launch acquisitions and overseeing a $69 million contract portfolio during deployment in Afghanistan. Brent earned a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Science in Management from the United States Air Force Academy, along with a certificate in Financial Analysis, Real Estate from NYU School of Professional Studies.
