Jon Wallace

Jon Wallace is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in editorial direction and content management within prominent organizations. Currently serving as Deputy Head News and Comment at Chatham House since July 2020, Jon leads a team to enhance the think tank's output on international affairs, significantly broadening its reach through media and marketing strategies. Previously, Jon held the role of Digital Manager at Chatham House, overseeing the launch of a new website and optimizing content strategies. Additionally, Jon contributed to the Institution of Structural Engineers as Content and Communications Manager and PR Executive, managing high-profile media engagements and communications for a large membership base. Early career roles include PR Officer at RAF Benevolent Fund and Communications Assistant at Breast Cancer Care. Jon holds a Diploma in Public Relations from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a Master of Arts degree in English Literature and History from The University of Edinburgh.
