Rashmin Sagoo

Director - International Law Programme at Chatham House

Rashmin Sagoo is currently the Director of the International Law Programme at Chatham House. Prior to this role, Sagoo served as an International Law Adviser at the British Red Cross and held various senior lawyer positions at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Sagoo also worked as a diplomat at the United Kingdom Representation to the European Union and as a Seconded National Expert at the European Committee. Sagoo's legal career began as a Lawyer at the Government Equalities Office/Treasury Solicitor's Department and the Department for Communities and Local Government. Educated at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the University of East Anglia, Sagoo holds a Bachelor of Laws degree specializing in Law with German Law and Language.
