Dele Oyebode

As Chief of Psychiatry and Program Medical Director of the Mental Health and Addictions Program, Dr. Dele Oyebode is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care in Psychiatry and the Mental Health and Addictions Program. He manages the medical care of the Mental Health and Addictions Program in conjunction with the Administrative Director.

Dr. Oyebode earned his MRCPsych from the University College Dublin, Ireland in 2006. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2010. Dr. Oyebode comes to CKHA with a breadth of experience in medical leadership as he has previously held the roles of Chief Psychiatrist and Maternal Mental Health Program Director at Weyburn Saskatchewan Health Authority. Dr. Oyebode has a strong passion for education, which is shown in his own continued learning but also in his desire for teaching medical students and postgraduate trainees.
