Glen Carpenter

Glen Carpenter has a diverse work experience in various software engineering roles. Glen is currently working as a Software Engineer at ChatLingual since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Software Development Engineer. Glen held two roles at AWS - first as a Software Development Engineer for Amazon Transcribe (Amazon AI) from August 2022 to July 2023, and then as a Software Development Engineer for Customer Engineering (AWS Professional Services) from March 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining AWS, Glen worked at Lumen Technologies as a Full Stack Engineer III, Transformation DevOps from April 2020 to March 2021. Glen was responsible for developing a dashboard for RPA management and creating wireframes for a service delivery order management tool.

Glen also worked as a Software Engineer for the State of Colorado from June 2019 to April 2020, where they developed web applications for tools used internally by the CO Secretary of State. Prior to that, Glen worked as a Software Engineer at DISH Network from February 2019 to June 2019, where they developed frontend services for the Ontech Smart Services website.

Glen has also gained freelance experience as a Software Developer. From February 2014 to January 2019, they worked as a Freelance Software Developer, handling full-stack development projects.

Earlier in their career, Glen had roles at ARRIS as a Fiber Network Data Manager (Onsite at Google, Inc.) from January 2014 to December 2018 and at Astreya Partners as a Carrier Order Management Specialist (Onsite at Google, Inc.) from August 2011 to April 2014. In these roles, they managed projects, improved processes, and developed metrics and dashboards.

Prior to transitioning to the software industry, Glen worked in the payment processing field. Glen was an Account Manager at PayPros Payment Solutions from May 2010 to August 2011 and at Leaders Merchant Services from June 2009 to May 2010. In these roles, they focused on generating sales, managing client accounts, and providing consulting services.

Throughout their career, Glen has demonstrated strong technical skills and a passion for software development and technology.

Glen Carpenter obtained a High School Diploma from Searcy High School in the field of study that is unspecified from 1999 to 2002. Additionally, they also received another High School Diploma from Saint Stanislaus between 2000 and 2001. Glen Carpenter pursued further education at Moorpark College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Music Theory and Composition from 2003 to 2010. Glen also earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Keyboard Instruments from the same college during the same period. Furthermore, Glen Carpenter acquired a certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2021.
