Shelly Goodin, PHR, SHRM-CP has a strong background in human resources, with experience in various leadership positions. Shelly is currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Goodwill Industries of the Greater Chattanooga Area since April 2022. Prior to this, Shelly was the HR Manager at Martin Tractor, Inc., a John Deere Dealer with 13 locations, from August 2016 to April 2022 where they developed and led a successful HR team and implemented policies across the organization. From January 2003 to May 2015, Shelly worked as the HR Director at Lutheran Hillside Village Senior Living Community, where they successfully managed the organization's budget and implemented strategies to improve recruitment and new hire orientation.

Shelly Goodin, PHR, SHRM-CP, holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Western Illinois University. Shelly also has an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Spoon River College. In addition to their formal education, Shelly has obtained two certifications: SHRM-CP from SHRM in July 2015 and PHR from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in May 2010.
