Andrew Schwartz is an experienced journalist currently serving as a Religion and Values Reporter at Chattanooga Times Free Press since October 2022. In addition to this role, Andrew has been the Editor in Chief at Mangoprism since 2018, overseeing a magazine focused on emerging writers. Prior roles include contributing as a Social Media Editor at The New Republic, as well as social media internships with North Carolina Public Radio-WUNC and The New Republic. Andrew has also worked as a Production Accountant at Icicle Seafoods, involved in developing a relational database for a wild salmon processing plant, and has experience in the culinary field as a line cook at Little Star Diner and Little Goat Diner. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Whitman College and a Salt Graduate Certificate in Documentary Studies from the Maine College of Art & Design. Andrew is also pursuing studies at the University of Havana.
