Mike Ratcliffe

Mike Ratcliffe, FCCA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Syndicate Accounting Manager at Chaucer Syndicates since March 2020, where the focus is on safeguarding global business operations within one of Lloyd's largest syndicates. Previously, Mike managed financial control and external reporting at Direct Line Group, overseeing a team of 25 and implementing a new reporting process during the company’s IPO. Other notable roles include Head of UK Finance at Morningstar and positions at Ipreo, Experis, Angela Mortimer Group, and The Legal Aid Agency, showcasing extensive expertise in accounting and financial management. Mike holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Bangor University and has achieved a professional qualification from ACCA.
