Akshara Patel

Akshara Patel is a Clinical Program Manager at CHDI Foundation since August 2022, where responsibilities include planning clinical projects, developing project documentation, managing budgets, evaluating vendors, and ensuring effective communication among project teams. Previously, Akshara served as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Nuvance Health from October 2018 to August 2022, overseeing several clinical trials and contributing to grant projects aimed at improving healthcare delivery. Earlier experiences include roles as a Project Manager and Program Coordinator for the SAMSHA Grant, a Data Specialist for the HRSA Grant, and a Research Assistant at Danbury Hospital, along with a dental career as a Dental Surgeon at Paes Dental Clinic. Akshara holds a Master of Public Health in Global Health Leadership from New York University and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.
