Elena Lopez

Elena Lopez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial and operational sectors. As Co-Founder and COO of Cheaf since April 2021, Elena focuses on reducing food waste by providing surplus food at reduced prices while supporting restaurants in cost optimization. Prior to this role, Elena served as Head of Wallet at Mercado Pago, managing a significant P&L and achieving substantial growth in active users. Earlier experience includes consulting at The Boston Consulting Group and roles at Goldman Sachs in the Securities Division. Elena holds a double degree in Global Economics and Law from the University of Navarra and has participated in exchange programs at Yonsei University and Università Bocconi, along with completing an undergraduate MBA program at IESE Business School.
