Alex Ovadia

Alex Ovadia is the CEO of Check-Cap, a company that produces swallowed capsule endoscopy systems. Prior to their current position, Ovadia served as the Director of Global Systems for Philips Healthcare from January 2001 to January 2013. In this role, they were responsible for managing CT systems engineering, physics, and verification engineering on a global scale. Additionally, Ovadia was a member of Philips Medical Israel’s management team. From March 1990 to January 2001, Ovadia worked for Elbit Systems as a system manager. In this role, they had full accountability for aircraft and naval upgrades across the U.S., Europe, Asia and Israel.

Ovadia has extensive experience in managing and developing CT systems. Their experience in various roles has given him a well-rounded perspective that they bring to their current position as CEO of Check-Cap. Under Ovadia’s leadership, Check-Cap has developed into a successful company that is making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

Alex Ovadia received a Bachelor's degree from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Alex then became a Technician in the field of Instrument & Control from Bosmat.
