John Hungerford is a seasoned Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at Check-Mate Industries, Inc. since January 2021, with prior experience as a Mechanical Engineer at Cleaver-Brooks and as a Value Stream Supervisor and Process Engineer at Koyo Bearings USA LLC. John began a career in engineering as a Program Engineer in a training program at JTEKT Corporation and later served as a Mechanical Shop Assistant at the University of Tennessee’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. The professional journey includes a range of roles, starting from an Engineering Co-op in fabrication at Altec to various positions in construction and hospitality during their earlier years. John holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, earned between 2008 and 2014.
