Head of Marketing at Checkbox

Michelle Luo has been working in the marketing industry since 2018. In 2018, they were the Head of Marketing for AIESEC Australia, where they led the national marketing strategy and direction across 11 branches. During their time there, they drove a 16% annual growth in revenue and personally designed, developed, and onboarded a new national website. In 2020, they became the Head of Marketing for Checkbox.ai, a Sequoia-backed no code platform. As the first marketing employee, they were responsible for the growth of marketing and sales and setup of digital marketing, demand generation, website, CRM and marketing automation. Michelle also implemented SEO, SEM and PPC strategies.

Michelle Luo has a Bachelor of Commerce/Information Systems in Marketing from UNSW. Michelle also attended St. George Girls High School and National Art School, where they obtained an HSC Intensive Studio Practice - Painting. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Checkbox.ai as a Checkbox App Designer in April 2021, and from Google Ads and Google Analytics for Business.
