Nuno Oliveira

Nuno Oliveira has a diverse and extensive work experience. Nuno is currently the Director of Engineering at Checkmarx, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to this, they served as the R&D Group Manager at Checkmarx from October 2019 to July 2022. Nuno also has experience as a Software Development Team Leader and Software Developer at Checkmarx from January 2016 to September 2019 and from October 2014 to December 2015, respectively.

In addition to their work at Checkmarx, Nuno has worked as an Invited Lecturer at Instituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave from March 2015 to January 2020.

Nuno's career started at Universidade do Minho, where they worked in various roles. Nuno was a PhD Student and Researcher from October 2010 to March 2015, a MSc Researcher from February 2009 to November 2009, and an Independent Worker and Student from October 2007 to October 2008. Nuno also served as a Student and Researcher from February 2007 to October 2007 and as a Student from September 2004 to March 2007. During their time at Universidade do Minho, Nuno focused on the development of a Visual Language for Attribute Grammar specifications, among other projects.

Nuno Oliveira's education history showcases a progression of expertise in the field of computer science. Between 2004 and 2007, they attended Universidade do Minho and obtained a degree in Computer Sciences, with a focus on software development. Nuno'sstudies during this period enhanced their understanding and skills in this area. Following this, from 2007 to 2009, Nuno Oliveira pursued a Master's degree in Informatics at the same university. During this time, their coursework included software analysis, language engineering, and program comprehension. These studies further expanded their knowledge and proficiency in software-related subjects.
