Shiran Amir

Shiran Amir has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Their most recent position is at Checkmarx, where they work as an Employee Experience and Learning Operations Specialist. In this role, they facilitate collaboration between the Employee Experience and Learning & Development departments.

Prior to Checkmarx, Shiran worked at BlazePod as a People Operations Generalist, taking responsibility for office management and ensuring the smooth functioning of the workplace.

Shiran also has experience working in the education sector. They held multiple roles at Israel Experience®, including Education Manager & Program Director, where they managed an international internship program and provided comprehensive support and services to participants. They also served as an Internship Placement Coordinator, ensuring internships for program participants.

Before that, Shiran worked as a Young Israeli Emissary at The Jewish Agency for Israel, where they immersed themselves in a new culture and had creative freedom in their work.

At the start of their career, Shiran held leadership and educational positions as a Community Center Youth Coordinator at IACC – Israel Association of Community Centers and as a Youth Coordinator at Rehovot Municipality.

Shiran's earlier work experience includes roles such as Customer Service Representative & Receptionist at Holmes Place Israel, Registration Coordinator at Rehovot Municipality, and Office Manager at Ben Horin & Alexandrovitz.

They also have experience in the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, specifically at the Home Front Command.

Shiran Amir attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2011 to 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. After completing their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Sociology from 2014 to 2017.
