Alex Monsef

Alexander Monsef serves as the Executive Vice President and Legal Counsel at Checkmate Capital since January 2019, overseeing due diligence, legal reviews, and investment sourcing. Prior to this role, Alexander Monsef worked at Coronal Energy, powered by Panasonic, from August 2015 to January 2019, where responsibilities included drafting and negotiating acquisition documents, and creating the legal infrastructure for the asset management division. Alexander Monsef holds a Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern Law School, earned in May 2014, and a BBA in Entrepreneurship and Business Law from the University of Miami Herbert Business School, obtained in May 2011.
