John Lewthwaite has extensive work experience spanning over three decades in various leadership roles. John is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Checkmate Fire Solutions Ltd. Prior to this, they worked as the Managing Director at The Business Improvement People Ltd, where they provided consultancy and interim services with a focus on creating business value. Before that, they served as the Managing Director of the Compliance Division at Lakehouse Compliance Division, where they successfully managed a £110M business and achieved significant growth. Additionally, John has held roles such as Regional Manager - Property Services at MITIE, Director at Ttrig Assist Ltd, and Group Support Director [Group-wide change programs] at Connaught PLC. John also served as the Operations Director at Connaught Partnerships PLC, where they led the growth and successful management of a new area business. John began their career at Mouchel Parkman, where they held various positions, including Business Unit Director, and gained experience in managing and administering multidisciplinary projects for clients in the private and public sectors.

John Lewthwaite completed a Business Course at Cranfield University, with an end year of 2008. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Portsmouth, from 1984 to 1988.
