Alan Kingsbury

Alan Kingsbury is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in scheme transaction economics and interchange fees. Currently serving as the Director of Scheme Transaction Economics at Checkout.com since October 2022, Alan previously held leadership roles at Nets Group and PXP Financial. With extensive experience at Worldpay, Alan recruited and managed teams focused on analyzing interchange and scheme fees, and contributed to transaction processing on a new IT platform. Alan's career also includes significant tenures at Barclaycard and Experian, where a mix of analytical and managerial roles established expertise in credit strategy and analytics. Alan holds a PhD in Pure Mathematics, a BSc in Mathematics, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from The University of Sheffield.
