Andrés Benito Miguélez

Andrés Benito Miguélez has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Andrés is currently working as an Engineering Director at Checkout.com since January 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Engineering Fixed Income & Global eTrading Solutions at BBVA from May 2019 to January 2022. Before joining BBVA, they held the position of Head of FX eCommerce Technology at Santander Corporate & Investment Banking from September 2009 to April 2019. Earlier in their career, they worked as an FX Engineer at NTT DATA from 2004 to September 2009 and as a Senior Software Engineer at PwC España from 2001 to 2004.

Andrés Benito Miguélez completed their Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the University of Deusto between 1996 and 2001. Andrés then pursued a major in Global Financial Markets from the Instituto de Estudios Bursatiles in the year 2005 to 2006. In December 2014, they obtained a ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance.
