Colette Hanley

Colette Hanley has extensive experience in technology risk, privacy governance, and compliance. Colette is currently employed at Checkout.com as the VP Technology Risk. Prior to that, they worked at Nokia as the Chief Privacy Officer, where they were responsible for privacy governance, management, compliance, and operational implementation. Colette also served as the Global Head of Information Security Compliance & Privacy at Microsoft, specifically for Skype Consumer and Skype for Business. In addition, they held leadership roles at Skype, Betfair, Barclays Bank, and PwC, focusing on information security, compliance, and standards. Colette's work experience spans over 17 years, demonstrating their expertise in various aspects of risk management and compliance within the technology industry.

Colette Hanley has a diverse education history, focusing on various areas of study. Colette pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Information Security at Royal Holloway, University of London. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in French Language and Literature from the University of Exeter. Colette also holds a Master of Arts (Maîtrise ès lettres) in Translation from Université Paris Nanterre. In addition, they have a Certificat d'Aptitude au Professorat de l'Enseignement du Second Degré (CAPES) from the same institution.
