Gavin Thomson

Gavin Thomson has extensive work experience in data analytics and human resources. Gavin is currently the Director of People Data and Analytics at Checkout.com since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Vodafone as the HR Analytics Group Lead from June 2018 to March 2022. Before Vodafone, Gavin was the HR Workforce and Insight Manager at Sidra Medical and Research Center from January 2015 to June 2018. Gavin also served as the Group HR Analytics Manager at Willis from March 2012 to December 2014 and as an HRMI/HRIS Project Consultant at Aviva plc from July 2010 to March 2012. Additionally, Gavin worked as a Senior Information Analyst at Norfolk & Norwich University NHS Trust from August 2009 to June 2010. Gavin started their career at Aviva plc as an HR Planning and Governance Analyst from 2006 to 2009 and as a Bordereaux Management Advisor from 2003 to 2006.

Gavin Thomson pursued their education by first attending Newton le Willows 6th form from 1996 to 1998. There, they completed their A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and General Studies. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Leeds from 1998 to 2001 to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mineral Engineering.
