Gilles Beausseron has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Gilles started their career as a Business Advisor and Database Assistant at Knysna Tourism in 2009. Gilles then held an internship position as an Internal Audit and Process Assistant at Aqualung in 2011, where they developed databases and improved work processes.

In 2011, Gilles created their own e-business called Icedrock, specializing in selling niche market items in France. Gilles managed various aspects of the business, including product sourcing, marketing, customer management, and accounting.

From 2012 to 2014, Gilles worked at Aimia Inc, first as a Graduate Analyst where they supported analytical projects for client companies and developed an understanding of technological and analytical developments within the company. Gilles then became a Product Analyst, responsible for ensuring the integrity of projects within the long-term product strategy.

In 2015, Gilles joined Secret Escapes as a Product Manager, collaborating with scrum teams and contributing to core projects, mobile sign-up conversion rate improvement, new sales format development, and launch in new territories.

In the same year, Gilles also worked at Aimia Inc as a Product Manager, focused on transforming a complex Space Planning solution into a scalable product.

From 2016 to 2019, Gilles worked at Zopa, starting as a Product Manager and later becoming a Squad Lead and Senior Product Manager. In these roles, they contributed to product development and management, combining market analysis, user feedback, and benefit/cost assessment.

Currently, Gilles works at Checkout.com as a Product Lead in the Disputes department, starting in 2019.

Gilles Beausseron completed their education from various institutions. Gilles started their higher education at Université Côte d'Azur from 2007 to 2009, where they pursued a degree in Techniques de Commercialisation and obtained a DUT TC. Following that, they attended Edinburgh Napier University from 2009 to 2011, where they achieved a BA (Hons) 2:1 in Business Management. Finally, in the year 2011-2012, Gilles attended Durham University, where they earned a Master's degree (MSc) in International Banking and Finance.
