Joao Marinho

Joao Marinho has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Joao began their career as a Summer Analyst at RBS in 2008, followed by an Analyst role the following year. In 2010, they worked as a Summer Analyst at Citi. Joao then joined Citi again in 2011 as an Analyst in Investment Banking and later became an Associate in the same department. In 2016, Joao joined Checkout.com as an Associate in Corporate Finance. Joao was promoted to Manager, Strategic Finance in 2018 and later became the VP of Strategic Finance in 2019. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Strategic Finance & Planning at Checkout.com, starting in January 2022.

Joao Marinho holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Economics from Queen Mary University of London. Joao also has pursued a Master of Science degree in Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
