Sven Doerfel

Sven Doerfel has extensive work experience in product management and software engineering roles. Sven is currently the Senior Director of Product Management, Card Issuing at Checkout.com since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at SumUp from 2020 to 2022 as the VP Product Online Payments, Risk and Compliance. Sven also worked at PayPal, where they held several roles including Director Local Market Product Marketing - DEATCH from 2019 to 2020 and Director Consumer Product Marketing - Core Markets from 2018 to 2019. Sven also worked as a Senior Product Manager - Checkout Experience at PayPal from 2007 to 2018. Earlier in their career, Sven worked as a Software Engineer at PROFIS.de, Torex, Axel Springer AG (Die Welt Online), and DaimlerChrysler AG (Research & Technology).

Sven Doerfel attended the Berlin University of Applied Sciences Berlin (BHT) from 1998 to 2002. There, they earned a diploma in Computer Science. In 2010, Sven enrolled in the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business for Executive Education in Product Management.
