Rachel Smith

Rachel Smith has a diverse work experience, beginning with their current role as a Senior Development Engineer at Checkpoint Surgical since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Design Engineer at Applied Medical Technology, Inc. (AMT) from November 2014 to December 2020. Rachel also gained experience as an Associate Engineer at Invacare Corporation in May 2014.

Rachel's early career included roles such as a Student Assistant at The Ohio State University from August 2013 to May 2014, a Concept Development Engineering Co-op at Invacare Corporation from May 2013 to August 2013, and a Student Assistant/Grader at The Ohio State University College of Engineering from January 2013 to April 2013.

Before these positions, Rachel worked as a Product and Design Engineering Co-op at Invacare Corporation from August 2012 to December 2012 and as a Student Assistant at Nanotech West Laboratories from April 2012 to June 2012.

Rachel Smith completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Ohio State University between 2008 and 2014. Prior to that, they attended Kenston High School from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Rachel obtained a certification as a Smartsheet Product Certified User from Smartsheet in November 2020.
