Chandni Jain

Chandni Jain has a diverse work experience spanning over 19 years. Currently, they are the VP of Engineering at Checkr, Inc. Chandni joined Checkr in April 2023 and continues to hold this position. Prior to their current role, Chandni worked as the Retail Head of Engineering at Shopify from June 2021 to March 2023. Chandni led a team of 180 engineers in building the world's best Point of Sale system. Before Shopify, they held various engineering leadership positions at Walmart Global Tech. From March 2020 to June 2021, they served as the Senior Director of Engineering responsible for Walmart's Catalog system. Prior to that, they were the Director of Engineering, overseeing a global team of 100+ engineers and responsible for critical site-serving platforms and product services. Chandni also has experience in the gaming and mobile industry, having worked as the Development Lead of the Mobile Team at Playdom from September 2010 to July 2013. Furthermore, they have held senior software engineering roles at M-Via Inc, Core Mobility, Comergent Technologies Inc, and Mastek Ltd. Overall, Chandni brings a wealth of experience in engineering leadership and software development across a variety of industries.

Chandni Jain obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from Nagpur University, graduating in 2003. Afterwards, in the same year, Chandni pursued a Diploma in Computer Science from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC).
