M.sc Cs Stella Li

Stella Li has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. Stella is currently working as a Software Engineer at Checkr, Inc. since 2022. Prior to this, Stella worked at Best Athletes from 2021 to 2022 as a Software Developer + QA Specialist, where they improved the development release cycle and implemented automated integration tests. Stella also worked on creating UI components and setting up endpoints for CRUD manipulations on customer data.

Before that, Stella was a Jr. Software Engineer at Bartelmes Finance Lab from 2020 to 2021, where they created an internal web application to optimize day-to-day operations. Stella oversaw the full lifecycle of application development and utilized industry standardized tooling for retrieving and processing real-time customer data.

Stella also worked as a Full Stack Developer Intern at Neighbourhood Watch Plus in 2020, where they introduced OpenCv to the application and experimented with gRPC for improved communication. Stella utilized Figma for designing the customer-facing web application.

Furthermore, Stella has had experiences as a Ruston Smart City - Student Researcher and NCAA D1 Soccer Player at Louisiana Tech University from 2016 to 2020. Stella also worked at Neighbourhood Watch Plus as a Full Stack Developer in 2019.

In addition to their technical work, Stella has also gained experience as a CIBC Global Money Transfer informant at OPTIMIZE MARKETING INC., a Hostess at Malaysia Restoran, and a Car Wax Sales Representative at CanAm R.S. in earlier years of their career.

Stella Li holds a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Computer Science with a Concentration in Cyber Security and Cloud Computing from Louisiana Tech University.
