Omair K.

Omair K. has extensive work experience in product design and user experience. Omair is currently serving as Product Design Leadership at Checkr, Inc. starting from 2022. Prior to this, from 2014 to the present, they founded and invested in IOXD, a company that partners with brands to launch products and transform experiences. Omair has also worked as a Product Design Manager at GoTo from 2018 to 2022 and as a Director of User Experience at RetailNext from 2013 to 2014. Before that, they worked as a Lead Interaction Designer at SugarCRM from 2011 to 2013. Omair played a key role in product development and UX design as the first employee at Offermatic from 2010 to 2011, where they secured funding of $5 million. Omair has also worked as a Freelance UX Designer from 2007 to 2010.

Omair K. has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Digital Media Art from San Jose State University. During their time at San Jose State University, they were specifically involved with the CADRE Laboratory for New Media. Omair's education history also includes attending Stanford University, where they pursued studies in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), although it is unclear whether they obtained a degree from this institution.

In addition to their formal education, Omair has obtained additional certifications. Omair completed a Lean UX and Agile certification from the Nielsen Norman Group in September 2021. Omair also obtained a Design Leadership certification from Cooper in February 2020.
