Vlad Bukhin

Vlad Bukhin has had a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering field. Vlad started their career as a Software Engineering Intern at Root Music in 2010 and later worked as a Web Software Engineering Intern at Credit.com in 2011. In the same year, they joined Jixee as a Software Engineer, where they developed the server-side architecture for a real-time collaboration platform.

From 2011 to 2014, Vlad worked at various companies in different roles. Vlad was a Software Engineer at Beats Music, where they architected and implemented the recommendations logic. Vlad then joined Jut, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented data receivers and optimized the Juttle Language. Vlad also worked as a Software Engineer at Apple for a brief period.

In 2016, Vlad joined eero as a Machine Learning / Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented a machine learning project from peer-reviewed scientific journals. During their time at eero, they successfully installed, tested, and demoed several in-home prototypes.

Most recently, Vlad has been working at Checkr, Inc. since 2018 as a Machine Learning Engineer. Here, they designed and launched the Checkr Report ETA feature and built a platform that consumes streaming data and performs feature engineering in Spark. Vlad also executes predictions using Sagemaker and ensures seamless deploys by reusing feature engineering implementations.

Vlad Bukhin completed their Bachelor's degree in Management Science / Economics from UC San Diego between 2003 and 2007. Vlad then pursued further education and obtained their Masters in Computer Science from San Francisco State University from 2009 to 2011.
