Dan Thormodsgaard

Dan Thormodsgaard is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in various roles within the IT sector. As the Chief Technology Officer at CheckRed since May 2023, Dan also plays a crucial role at Thor Group, LLC starting February 2023, and contributes to client strategy at MixMode since April 2022. Previously, Dan co-founded Fishtech Group serving as CTO from January 2016 to February 2022, and held the position of Vice President of Solutions Architecture at both FireMon and FishNet Security. Earlier career highlights include serving as Principal Consultant at Midwest Systems and Corporate Systems Engineer at XIOTECH, along with experience as Professional Services Manager at Whitman Hart. Dan Thormodsgaard holds degrees in Civil Engineering and Math Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota, where studies were completed from 1982 to 1985, and the University of Minnesota Duluth from 1979 to 1982.
