Matt Andrews has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Matt started their career as a Volunteer at NHS Professionals in 2008. Matt then worked as a PFS colleague at Sainsbury's before joining Affinity Sutton as a Data input assistant. During their time at Affinity Sutton, they primarily worked on stock condition surveys and also carried out data analyst work.

Matt then pursued their education at the University of Birmingham where they were a Student for four years. After completing their degree, they joined ELG Carbon Fibre Ltd. as a Product Development Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for developing new products.

Matt then worked at Andrews Engineering as a Contract Process Engineer. Following that, Matt joined DNV GL, where they worked as a safety risk consultant. In this role, they conducted Quantitative Risk assessments for Oil and Gas facilities and was involved in Hydrogen projects as well.

Currently, Matt is employed at Cheesecake Energy Ltd as the Systems Team Lead / Process Engineer.

Matt Andrews attended The Hemel Hempstead school from 2008 to 2010. Matt then went on to The University of Birmingham, where they earned their Master of Engineering (MEng) (International Study) degree in Chemical Engineering from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they participated in an exchange study program at the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2013 and 2014, focusing on Chemical Engineering.
