Phelip Mendes

Phelip Mendes is the current VP of Finances at Cheesecake Labs. Phelip has over 20 years of experience in the field of finance, with a focus on controllership, accounting, taxation, and financial planning and analysis. Phelip began their career at Neoway in November 2019, where they served as Controller. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team of 18 employees in the areas of accounting, taxation, finance, FP&A, payroll, and purchasing. Phelip also oversaw the implementation of a new purchasing process for the company, which included the evaluation, definition, and integration of a specific software system. Additionally, Phelip was responsible for the reevaluation and redesign of company processes and areas of focus, with a focus on creating a risk matrix and control policies for each department. Phelip also led the external audit process for the company, working with internal teams to prepare information and documents. In September 2021, Phelip transitioned to their current role as VP of Finances at Cheesecake Labs. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Phelip is also responsible for leading the company's treasury and cash management efforts.

Phelip Mendes has a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Gestão Contábil e Tributária from FAE Centro Universitário and a University degree in Accounting from Universidade Federal do Paraná.
